Hi, ive run into some specific cases where i have to set what entry or exit
nodes i use. In root terminal i input

gedit /etc/tor/torrc

and add the entry

ExitNodes 67C1C699BF0C0E97C8E60ACF45C707872633A4CA

Then save and reboot.

This will work fine, i check my ip and its that of the exit i selected, however
if instead i input a guard node

EntryNodes B6D30CEC9F8FAB676CCD0634DC86412F1BA8F4D2

or even a list of guard nodes

EntryNodes A9D58B92452E3B8527C45BB0972CA7E7B1A50CFD,

Tails will not connect to tor. The farthest it will get is to update the system
clock.

I acquire my node fingerprints by going to

http://torstatus.blutmagie.de/

and selecting the proper flags at the bottom, specifically either exit or
guard, stable, running, then select the country im looking for. These are major
high bandwidth high uptime guard nodes, there should be no problem connecting
to them. Ive also tried connecting to bridge nodes in tails using the bridge
option in the greeter, it still will fail to connect to known bridges, bridges
that i have successfully connected to with TBB on windows just prior. I dont
know what is the problem but please fix this asap, its critical to the security
of users that they be able to specify what nodes that want to use.
