Why is substantially lowering the chance of a user getting a hostile guard node something you will address "at some point"? Isnt the whole point of tails to stay anonymous? The tor developers have already moved the next TBB bundle release to only use 1 guard node over the course of months for the very reason that guard nodes are the singlemost important point of failure in the whole Tor design and all it takes is one chance for an attacker to deanonymize you, Tails is set up to use a new guard node every single time it boots, you have designed this OS to do exactly the opposite of what is necessary to protect its users.
This isnt something you need to do at some point, this is something you need to do now, and at the expense of useless things like updating to a flashier and unncessary version of debian which seems to have consumed all of your time.
