I know very little about Macbooks, but I think this is a known issue, that is worked on in Debian https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=749109 The problem is, that Debian (and thus Tails) is missing a driver for the wifi-hardware in many Macbooks.
