Thank you for the prompt reply. 1.) Is the ISO file currently at http://dl.amnesia.boum.org/tails/stable/tails-i386-2.7/tails-i386-2.7.iso the same as the one that was there at the start of November 15th (UTC)?
The .sig file that I downloaded at that time from the above directory would appear to be the same as the one that is currently found at wget https://tails.boum.org/torrents/files/tails-i386-2.7.iso.sig (The hashes I get are the same) This leaves the question I had asked about the RSA key used to sign this latest release of Tails, "0xAF292B44A0EDAA41": Has it been used before? 2.) > Looks like the way they're checking [ i.e., distrowatch.com] for the latest > *released* Tails > version is buggy. Do you want to talk to them about it? I suppose I could email Distrowatch about the matter but what exactly would I say? I am afraid I am quite ignorant in these areas. (Also, just to make sure it is clear: I have no affiliation with or connection to Distrowatch, other than being an occasional visitor to the site.) _______________________________________________ tails-support mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-support To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to [email protected].
