Hi, How did you do the update exactly?
Do you have a persistent storage on your Tails USB? If not, you could simply do a fresh install to see if it fixes your issue. If yes, you could try to boot on another laptop if possible. Or do a "clone & upgrade" from another freshly installed Tails USB: https://tails.boum.org/doc/first_steps/upgrade/ (manual upgrade section) Cheers.
