Tails is supposed to run on quite a lot of hardware. With some exceptions: * Tails 3.0 will require a 64bit x86 processor. Most netbooks don't have 64 bit processors as far as i know. * Some WiFi cards are known to require proprietary drivers which we do not include. We have a list of known issues here: https://tails.boum.org/support/known_issues/ Note that most of the reported issues were identified in older versions of Tails and I don't really know how up-to-date this page actually is. From my own point of view I could recommend to find a used ThinkPad X201, which you can find for the price of a netbook. Those computers are able to boot from SD card, on which you can put Tails instead of a USB stick. Cheers! u. _______________________________________________ tails-support mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-support To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to [email protected].
