I loaded up the NSW maps and the worked fine on my eTrex Legend HCx. They were just a bit old and the majority of Newcastle wasn't in it (or at least, it didn't seem to be).
The frequent release of updated routable maps for my area will hopefully inspire some street-naming, which continues to be avoided in favour of mapping mountain bike trails. Brent
