A more useful QA task is making sure straight roads are straight and only have required nodes.
This assumes that the road actually is straight. Last year I added a street in a village, with additional nodes between the intersections. Recently I added some more streets in the same village. I noticed that in the intervening year, someone had 'helpfully' removed the extra nodes between the intersections - however I had to add them back, as the road between the intersections isn't straight. (And no, I'm not telling you who did it!)
This hopefully won't happen again here, as now there are two GPS traces on that section of road, both showing the bends in the road.
