Hi Folks,
It doesn’t need to be ‘bush bashing’ it could, in Tasmania, also just as well be alpine moorlands, scree slopes, button grass plains, wet forest, beaches, alpine heath, walking up a riverbed. Exactly, I've just added the term bush-bashing to the wiki to try and make it clearer. If a bushwalking club is doing an off-track walk, where there is no visible path on the ground, and they are bush-bashing, then unless it's a formally signposted route it shouldn't exist as a way in OSM.
