I see no harm in reverting the deletion of the routes. While aaronsta may have been correct in the strictest sense of the rules to delete stuff "where there's nothing on the ground", I can only see benefit (and no harm) in leaving these route relations in place. There are times when some discretion can be used when applying rules, and I believe this is one such time.
