classifications it looks like they are mostly consistent at the
trunk/primary level with the current Queensland road classifications
<https://www.publications.qld.gov.au/dataset/the-state-road-network-of-queensland>,
where the A3 throughout is designated as a "State Strategic Route" and
other main roads are mostly designated as "Regional Road Network". If you
went by traffic volumes rather than official classifications,
Nanango-Kingaroy-Murgon-Gooomeri would be right up there as that route
mostly has two to three times the traffic of Nanango-Goomeri direct. There
are plenty of inconsistencies, for example Wide Bay Highway is shown as a
primary road but it is a State Strategic Route.
