Hi everyone, as you probably know (or not), Openstreetmap is looking to change the licence from cc-by-sa to the new odbl licence ( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Open_Data_License and http://www.osmfoundation.org/wiki/License/We_Are_Changing_The_License )
We need to change licence because the previous licence is unsuitable for map data in many countries http://www.osmfoundation.org/wiki/License/Why_CC_BY-SA_is_Unsuitable since there was not much traffic about this in the talk-be list, i've check the acceptance rate of Belgium... here on a map http://osm.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/map/?zoom=9&lat=50.68506&lon=4.5875&layers=B0 or here http://odbl.info.nu/belgium.html per user... Wow 26% of all nodes .... it's small... too small ( where France has ~60%) i know we are only in one of the first stage to relicence but it's kind of scary for the completeness of Belgium in OSM. If you wan't to sign the terms please go to http://openstreetmap.org/user/terms Thanks to everyone for making osm such a good project eMerzh aka Brice
