Hi Marc, Your help will be much appreciated! Voetwegen are usually tagged as:
highway=footway name=Voetweg 22 bicycle=yes (or no, of course) horse=no (or yes) width=1.60 surface=dirt (or paved, asphalt) Which editor are you using? If you simply do edit, then it is Potlatch2. You can easily get help in there to get you started. There is also another editor; JOSM, which is a lot more powerful. It allows you to show where on your GPX track you took pictures, for example. You can download it at josm.openstreetmap.de We will also be organizing a meeting in Liège on the 13th of May, where I will show some advanced/efficient ways of using JOSM to trace buildings from bing imagery and associ (among other things). There will also be an introduction what OSM is all about. It will probably be in French. Don't worry about making mistakes. It's very easy to fix/improve things afterwards. We will probably arrange another informal meeting in June, possibly in Aarschot. Cheers, Polyglot 2011/4/15 Marc Gemis <[email protected]> > Hi, > > My name is Marc Gemis. I'm new to OpenStreetMap.
