I am very grateful to John for 'donating' the CATMP map, and if he could be even more generous and add the GPS tracks that he use to derive it that would also benefit OSM greatly. The GPS tracks would enable fine tuning of the ways. They also give peripheral information such as speed and elevation which can help with some mapping decisions. Of course I would be happy to pick up any more data for my area of the world, but the CATMP import was 100% manual and I have a bandwidth issue between my brain and the real/physical world.
