So to obtain all data for building outlines(from source) (from what scruss has provided) we would need to convert all tiles of the building outline and join them together as it clips on edge of tile: http://i66.tinypic.com/2i1ffpx.png As for additional information from the DWG I have not see any except if you assume(may be inaccurate) certain attributes based on the layer (i.e. house layer = building=house) instead of using the more generic value of building=yes.
