Hello everyone, There are still a few areas not done yet from the Southampton mapping party, mostly I think by people new to OSM. Let me know if you're having difficulties, particularly in view of the server upgrade, and I'll see if I can help. Nick -------------- Thanks for the nudge, I looked in further as to why JOSM wasn't working for me and ended up chopping up the file several times (I'll do a smaller area at a time in future!). Finally got it all uploaded and then looked at [EMAIL PROTECTED](to request updates), couldn't get it to update then I looked at the Maplint layer, wahoo I can see the road I was wanting! Researched what Maplint was, oh not so good. "Segment without way" is that me tagging/editing it wrong or is it something to do with the uploading after cutting the .osm xml file into chunks? The area I am looking at, is pretty much west from Winchester centre. A road runs out and then stops (the previous mapper went back on some pathway?). It should be finished off by meeting up with the A305-?, near to Horsebridge. Leaving it to come back to later, so advise would be helpful. In chopping up that XML I did rename it as I went so should have the untouched file.
