Hi, I've not been involved in the OU website myself, but I know a few people who are... Apparently it was mostly down to organisational reasons - we reluctantly changed it on their behalf, as two members of OUCS staff had invested time in the OXPOINTS project and wanted to put it to use: http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/oxpoints/ As a secondary reason, there were reports that OSM "felt slower" than Google - whatever that might mean. - Matthew (developer at Torchbox and part-time Charlbury Code Ninja) _______________________________________________ Talk-GB mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/talk-gb
