It's "kick self" time. I know some people who live in Milton Keynes that I invited to join us, but they couldn't as they were due to leave for holiday last Friday. What I forgot to do is look up where in MK they live before the weekend so I could map their area for them, and I think they live just in cake slice 28 near the border with 29 and I don't think anyone did that bit (having shaded in my cake map based on the section about traces that has appeared at the top of the wiki page). http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/MK_Mapping_Party
Perhaps I'll just have to find an excuse to visit them... Looking at the "UK mapping priorities" page which has been updated recently, http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UK_Mapping_Priorities I suspect Telford is another large "new town" that could do with a party organising. Cannock has a higher score and is even less complete, but from what I remember of the town it is fairly small so would perhaps form a first day of a two town mapping weekend, if there is another nearby that also needs some work. Perhaps stretch the area out towards Chasetown, or outwards to Hednesford/Cheslyn Hay. I could attend either (coordinating it with a visit to parents in Wolverhampton) so long as I've not already got something booked (which assuming we try not to clash mapping parties within the UK or with state of the map means August earliest, it seems).
