That seems to be just mile posts. What about tagging the artwork? What about linear artwork? This one http://cambridge.cyclestreets.net/location/10548/ stretches out along the path for several hundred metres (and the solar system artwork on the York to Selby path is placed intermittently over a long distance I believe).
