Anyone fancy a bit of detective work on a railway line? Question: Is
there an operating railway line to the east of Sleaford in
Linclonshire and how many tracks does it have?

Even the information from Network Rail in contradictory and is
certainly wrong in parts.

The 'Strategic Business Plan 11' from Network Rail shows a twin track
line to the east of Sleaford' (it is not twin track - see below)[3]

However... the 'Geographic Network Map' from Network Rail does not
even show a route to the east of Sleaford at all.[4]

Google/TelAtlas shows no railway line but the aerial photography
clearly shows a *single track* line in good condition (not twin track
as per Network Rail)[2]

StreetMap.co.uk displays OS mapping and there is a line to the east of
the town (but does that indicate that it is operaional?)[5]

OSM showed a working line at some point in the past, but it is now has
a discontinued line in the data that isn't rendered for some reason[1]

Wikipedia shows the route going through Sleaford.[6]

There are no news reports that I can see saying anything has changed
recently.

So... anyone fancy sorting this one out?
