Spamming random people is not a good idea, but I would love to be alerted if
the particular change I'm about to upload will introduce (what look like)
errors in the data.  That would mean integrating keepright or similar code
directly into the editor, or else adding a 'lint' API where the editor could
upload a proposed changeset and get back a list of warnings.  (This 'lint' API
might run on keepright's own servers rather than OSM's.)

Easier to implement would be an automated message after the change is uploaded,
going only to the person who made it, and only if that change introduced new
errors.  To avoid pissing people off this might have to be opt-in; these
warning messages, even if done with the best of intentions, might appear
combative if you're not familiar with them.
