I think this is a good idea, with plain unsigned=yes taken to mean that neither
the name nor the ref or any other unique identification is signed.

But sooner or later someone will tag something as unsigned=no. Double negatives seem faintly ridiculous to me. Why not replace unsigned=yes with signed=no? Seems more logical to me.
