Alternatively, I could post a brief note. If you would like me to do
that, please give me just a little about the leaflet which I can pass
on.

Thank you. The leaflet is being produced to promote a new business opening in
Nailsworth and the map is being used as part of the contact information section.

Thank you,
The map is a section of Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, GL6 0BL.
Does the mailing list you suggest relate to this area? if so, I will do as you
suggest and ask there.

There are several mappers in the area, but a very superficial glance
shows that "southglos" has done several of the ways.
  http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/southglos/

He seems to be involved with http://www.mythornbury.co.uk/ and you can
see their use (and attribution) of OSM at
http://www.mythornbury.co.uk/thornbury/map/street_index.

As far as I know, there is no mailing list for the local area, but
there is the national list:
  http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb

You might like to take a quick look in the archives
(http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/) to see what
sort of discussion goes on there.

I don't think that you *need* to send a message to the list, but people
may be pleased to hear that their work is being used widely.
Alternatively, I could post a brief note. If you would like me to do
that, please give me just a little about the leaflet which I can pass
on.

A E Lawrence
