I am in fact aware of the canonical list. Dan has already taken up adding part of my changes: https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/pull/12/files I'd be happy to help him. I don't think we necessarily need to coordinate the mechanical edit and the correction of name-suggestion-index, though. As the rest of your e-mail mainly consists of points that have been addressed before, I'm not sure if it's useful to respond to them again.
