Examples abound but an egregious one, in this context, is the south side of Leeds City Centre where you have the Holbeck Viaduct with its 92 brick arches 3 stories high marching across the urban landscape. An extremely visible structure in reality but rendered invisible on all the main layers simply due to *disused=yes*.

If it's what I'm thinking about at https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#zoom=16&lat=53.78962&lon=-1.55777 , wouldn't man_made=bridge (closed way around the bridge structure) make sense?  It might look a bit odd, but at least you'd see something in the "standard" style.

Best Regards,

Andy
