My impression is that Wilko is genuine consumer, but B&Q, is mix of consumer and informal economy trade (aka handymen) and Wickes is mainly a mix of formal and informal economy trade.
(I'm not sure to what extent handymen are really in the informal economy, or simply do properly taxed small B2C jobs.)
