A more recent drone shot suggests the South side of the lift bridge -
makes sense as there's going to be stop-plank slots in the bridge hole.
So, yes, the arm is probably slowly filling.
My guess is the whole 1.5km pound from the breach to Grindley Brook
staircase is dry, but expect CaRT to deploy pumps pretty sharpish to
maintain the water transport.
I've also added more tagging copying from the ongoing Bridgewater breach
- which apparently was a collapsed culvert.
