Also, real time information, including bed availability and other
information intended for people on the ground (and fed by SMS and other
ways), is going to be available shortly (at most in the next 24 hours,
or so).

The data will be available as .CSV downloads.
From an example request for information for an emergency situation in
Jacmel I just ran across on a Haitian forum, I can tell (just in case it
would not be obvious to everybody) that if there was an easily
accessible way to display this information on a map, it could be
extremely useful.
Do you think OpenStreetMap could provide an element of answer on this ?
(like Jan's map maybe, or OpenStreetBugs/OSE style (which has more
flexible popup size, maybe) ?)
