Well it is certainly a good idea to teach computer science
beyond MSWord, and geography beyond old printed maps.
Local knowledge plays an important role in OSM, and if all
the local streets are named already (are they?) and all
park benches are mapped, this is an interesting idea.
Leaves the issue what value field names provide to others,
or if they unnecessarily clutter the main renderings.
Thus we could contact that teacher and propose to use a
specific tag, such as farm_name, or name:qualifier, and
set up their own mapnik (another task for the advanced students)
which renders these features...
