Hi Dave Thanks for all your help. I'm progressing along the learning curve. I shall add more control points- I'd kinda worked that out myself but I didn't realise I needed so many - perhaps I should have watched to the end of the video instead of leaping straight in. It was the rectification quality I was referring to and the reason for the differing quality at different zoom levels was a JOSM cache issue. Thanks for the warning about OSM quality - I'll concentrate on areas I've either surveyed or have already re-aligned as I've added landuse. And finally I quite forgot my manners in not thanking you for all your efforts in putting together the videos - I wouldn't have been able to get started without them and also for your initial hand holding for a newbie to townland mapping.
