Furthermore, the DB with the house number to be imported, comes from the
official database of the Province Bolzano. I believe that the street
name stored in this DB are correct.
If this street name is not correct, I can't do anything. The mappers can
fix this problem.
This one of the purpose of the project OpenGisData, and the hope of the
Province Bolzano: import the house numbers in OSM to allow the community
to fix any mistakes.
Se posso vorrei dire anche la mia sull'ordine delle lingue, visto che
è stato deciso di impostarlo in base alla maggiore popolazione.
Non so se questo sia utile per chi magari guarda la cartina dell'Alto
Adige.

Per farmene un'idea mi immagino di guardare una regione della Spagna,
la Catalonia p.es. o altra zona, chessò, Valencia.
Ecco, se posso partire dal presupposto che l'ordine delle lingue è
sempre uguale, saprò con certezza quale è il nome spagnolo o catalano.
Se invece venisse indicato in base ad un rilevamento etnico e l'ordine
delle lingue non fosse sempre uguale? Come faccio poi a sapere quale è
il nome spagnolo?
Certo, in taluni casi si capisce comunque, ma la metà dei nomi può
essere dubbia per uno straniero.

As geographer, your observation is correct. When I made a map, the most
important things is the homogeneity of the informations.
But the project of OpenStreetMap want to mirror, to reproduce the
territory. And here in South Tyrol, the shild of the street respect the
majority-of-language-order. For example, in Merano (my town) the
popolation is 50% IT/ 50% DE, and the order of the language on the
shilds, change street by street. For example, in Sinigo, the major of
popolation speak italian, also you can find shild like "piazza Vittorio
Veneto - Vittorio-Veneto-Platz", in Maia alta-Obermais, the major of
popolation speak german, also you can find shild like "Cavourstraße-via
Cavour".
