Hi, I'm preparing to map the local bus routes of the city of Terrassa (Catalonia, SPAIN) and use this information to practise routing algorithms with my students [1]. I have some questions you may advise:
Bus Stops I've read that bus stops should be placed next to ways but not as a node in a way. Is there anyway to assign the bus stop node to a way (maybe a relation)? Routes: When creating the relations I have to add the ways, but what about the bus stops nodes? They are not part of the route? Bus Lines with a start and end bus stop that have a forward and backward direction but not using the same roads should be mapped as two different routes? Routing: Does anyone know about any experience of routing with public transport? I've seen that in the NapTAN import there are 'naptan:' tags (QROTI with qroti:). Can I add new tags (to link to a timetable database, provide routing hints or define a start and end bus stop in a route)?
