The OSM US group met last night for our regular meeting. At this meeting we finalized the bylaws. These bylaws have been in draft form for several months, were then worked on by the board, and then had 2 weeks to be evaluated by the general public. We received some feedback and took your feedback and incorporated that into the current bylaws at:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Foundation/Local_Chapters/United_States/Draft_Rules At this point we've all voted on these bylaws, but we're leaving them up as a draft until next Thursday (since we plan on incorporating Friday). If you see something in these bylaws which is a major issue, which absolutely positively must be changed, please let us know and the board will meet to discuss it in the next few days. Otherwise, all future bylaw changes will need to be made via the amendment procedure.
