I was forwarded this podcast about ESRI Community Basemaps. They compare OpenStreetMap and ESRI's Community Basemaps. They find that the community basemaps are much more popular among GIS professionals. Also, they are sponsored by ESRI and have a commercial for ESRI immediately before the podcast. Anyway, it's interesting to hear about OSM from other external parties.
