Hi,

Mapping bike lanes here in Salt Lake I get confused by the different
types of bike lanes and how to map them. There's regular bike lanes,
which I tag cycleway=lane, but then there's also "green shared
lanes"[1] and "signed shared roadways"[2] which I'm not sure how to
map. Is there a convention in place or do we just tag them all as
cycleway=lane?

If there are markings on the road (like the ones inside the green stripe in link 2) cycleway=sharrow is one option. If there are simply signs saying 'share the road', that's at most bicycle=designated. If there are green 'bike route' signs, it's probably rcn=yes or lcn=yes depending on whether they're put up as part of a statewide (regional) network or a local one.
