I feel the OSM project is missing a major opportunity to find mappers, by focusing on finding mappers. Instead find enthusiasts for ____________________________________. It could be RV toilets, street art, abandoned railways (ahem), free book stands, fairy houses, whatever.
OSM is far behind Google in transportation routing via any mode (from walking to airline/train travel) that that won't work right now.
