Thanks for sending the alternatives and blog! The Edge is a small-ish screen bike computer. the 820 was until a few days ago in the newest generation so I was surprised at how sluggish it was with the OSM maps.
Here's a link to the default cycle routing map it uses, clearly OSM Based.
