I notice around me that the map appears cluttered by a number of 'place=locality' points with alphanumeric names like 'CPF 499' which appear to be the reference numbers of rail junctions.
Tellingly, the objects all seem to have been added by user 'NE2', who was well known a few years ago for having eccentric ideas about how things go on the map. When I come upon these, what's The Right Thing? 'railway=junction ref="CPF 499"' instead? I'm ignorant of rail mapping, since I live in Russ Nelson country and he's left me little to do in that domain. _______________________________________________ Talk-us mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us
