Hi All I've just completed adding as many of the tracks and trails in the Table Mountain National Park that I could get reliable GPS traces for over the past few months. Some of the traces were donated by Mountail Meanders<http://sites.google.com/site/mountainmeanderswiki/Home> from gpx files that they had collected over the years.
I have sent them (as promised) a link to the OSM map and a couple of Garmin img files and a Mapsource installer I generated so that they can take a look at the work done so far and give me feedback. Almost immediately after they received the files, they sent me an e-mail asking the following: ".Would you be willing/interested to give a talk to the GPS User Group sometime? Could be on a Friday evening at the Mountain Club as they are always looking for speakers and it is a topic of general interest." As I've only been involved in the OSM project for 4 months or so, I don't feel suitably qualified to give such a talk. Is their anyone in Cape Town with a deeper knowledge of the project that would be willing to give such a talk? I'd be happy to assist and chip in with information related to the TMNP trail map specifically. Bryan
