Hi, does anyone know why the N2 between George and Jeffreys Bay is tagged as highway=trunk, and not highway=motorway. According to the wiki trunk roads need not be divided (the case in N2), but is typically managed by central government (should be `provincial'). But the N2 is actually a national road... not divided, I agree. Or should we not consider the route code (and ownership) as guides?
Maybe someone can shed light, please? Or just direct me to a specific URL where I can read on how we SHOULD be tagging our roads more correctly (if it indeed should be `trunk' ). Thanks in advance.
