Lol, that's a good point, too. The kids peeking thing. I wont' really be bringing the laptp to school, but theoretically, if people at home are looking over my shoulder, that could be annoying. Even though i don't go on any objectionable sites or anything. Well I guess the zone could be considered objectionable, now. Lol. But anyway, thanks Vanjy! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vanja Sudar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

For me usually it saved some baterry life, maybe not a lot, but it usually did help, so if you don't need to use a monitor, which you obviously don't, I'd recommend doing it. Another reason I did it is I didn't want people in school to sneak and look at what I'm doing, so if they really wanted to do it they'd have to be like in my face.

Hey Guys,
I know there are ways of lowering the brightness of laptop screens to save battery power. Is this worth it, or is it barely a marginal difference in the long run? I have a Toshiba, by the way.

Thanks,
Catlin
