Greetings, While this isn't it's typical use - if you don't mind a little bit of VB code for assembling the HL7 you certainly could do what you're asking for here. BWS does have the ability to listen for / send data across a socket. And can help some with the data formatting - although creating HL7 is not a "graphically" configured thing - the DataStation would help a lot with reading and parsing the flat file.
