DateStamp = Format(Trim(View(,,Row,Col,8)),"yyyymmdd")

 

(where you are viewing the current cursor position for 8 characters and
it contains a date formatted like mm/dd/yy)

 

Will give you the date located at your current cursor position formatted
in yyyymmdd stored in variable DateStamp.

 

Try it out using an immediate window in your VBS editor while you have
Meditech open and active in BWS.

Group,

I am writing a script for Meditech Client Server 5.6  PP

 

It goes to the bottom of a list and adds a new entry. How do I let the
row position be variable. When I record the data station enter it is on
Row 15 but the next entry may be on row 20.  (it depends how long that
list is)
