600 scripts was some time ago. Our current script count is 1281
scheduled, 25 customer-run, 140 as-needed data entry.

For the scheduled scripts, we use 1 or 2 virtual servers (win2003) per
region, 14 servers total. For the most part, those 1281 are split up
evenly amongst the servers.

We use windows task scheduler to run our scripts and have created a
custom monitoring system that immediately informs us of hung scripts so
they can be reran by our network operations folks.

Subject: [talkbws] Number of instances of BWS on one machine.

We recently purchased a new license and had to update our existing
licenses to the latest version of BWS. When we did this our "Scripting
Computer" was instantly paralyzed because we had 12 instances of BWS
open and running on that machine.

I remember someone saying they had about 600 scripts deployed. How were
these distributed? And has anyone else encountered this issue?
