It looks like where I'm going wrong is in not restricting my "Open" or
"Loaded" time to when the script actually needs to run. I'm using the
internal BWS scheduler. The Windows task idea sounds way smarter.

Subject: [talkbws] RE: Number of instances of BWS on one machine.

Greetings,

Sounds to me like something had to have started up the instances of BWS
automatically for you.

There is nothing I can think of that an upgrade would do to cause that
sort of behavior.

How were things started before? Was there an automatic "load" of BWS
being done before (start menu shortcut etc.)

Where these all the same project? Different projects?

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [talkbws] Number of instances of BWS on one machine.

We recently purchased a new license and had to update our existing
licenses to the latest version of BWS. When we did this our "Scripting
Computer" was instantly paralyzed because we had 12 instances of BWS
open and running on that machine.

I remember someone saying they had about 600 scripts deployed. How were
these distributed? And has anyone else encountered this issue?
