Greetings,
I just ran the below in .Net (Visual Studio 2008 not that it matters)
Had the reference set of course.

          Dim w As New BostonWorkStation70.BostonWorkStation
        w.SmartDialog("Open", "File name:<Editable text>").Value =
"Stuff.txt"
        w.SmartDialog("Open", "Open<Push button>#focusable
default#").Click()

Worked like a charm.

I'm running XP.

About the only thing I could think of (everything else set up correctly
syntax wise), would be something different in the button itself on my pc
vs yours - the #focusable default# thing.

To rule that in or out...
Close Meditech - launch by hand- not with a script- get to the open
dialog
Open Boston WorkStation - connect to open dialog with Windows
Select Smart from the Auto View Method dropdown
Select Advanced Windows Functions -> Smart Components
Uncheck Focusable
Select Refresh
Read down - you'll see several things with Open in the Name column.
Look for the one directly above "Cancel" and see what it says in the
State Column.
On my PC it says "focusable default" - which is where I got the
#focusable default#" from.

Regards,
Thom

Connections dialog

For some reason that is not working for me. I am writing my script in
vb.net. Maybe that is why it isn't working? Do you have any other
suggestions?

Thanks!
