Greetings, If the query is configured in Access, DataStation can "read" it (well it runs it first then your script gets the results).
This doesn't give you the flexibility of the "in your script SQL" though that ADO would - e.g. passing dynamic values to the query. Regards, Thom Thom C. In this case, you're bypassing the data station altogether and using ADO and recordsets to cycle through your records. Good luck! If I have 700 records, but only 200 of them match my criteria is there a way to jump from matching record to matching record? Or do I need to figure out a VB solution to this? Criteria would always be ###R, ###0, or ###E for a partial match. Right now line by line searching using steps is working, but I always run the risk of my meditech screen timing out and dropping back a screen (or 2).
