That seems to have fixed the problem, thanks Ryan.

RE: [talkbws] Workstation and BWS license

Sounds like the user account doesn?t have the necessary permissions on the
bss70 folder. User?s require read/write access to the bss70 folder in
order to run BWS, at least from my experience. If the user is an
administrator on the PC, then they already have this permission. However,
if they?re just a normal user, they probably don?t by default. If you
have the rights to grant read/write access to users on the folder, then
you could probably make the change and get it to work. Otherwise you may
need to work with your IT guys to get the appropriate rights setup.

Anyways, that?s my diagnosis. I?m sure if I?m wrong, someone on this list
will know and chime in.

Well, what happens when I try to launch BWS on the other account is I get
error Can't open C:\bss70\default.bwd; invalid storage or permission
denied (80040563). I don't want to start messing with things and have it
so I can't use BWS at all. Should I run install on the new profile? Does
BWS install for all users?

You shouldn?t have to do anything if BWS stays on the same PC. It?s only
if you move BWS to a new PC that you need to go through all those steps.

If I'm changing the workstation login to a new account, is there a way to
just move the license to the new login or do I have to go through the
process of unregistering and reregistering the license if it's on the same
pc.
