Ryan,

>From what I've heard speaking with some folks about Epic it can be both
a terminal emulation and windows.

The terminal emulation can be used for bulk data entry for
dictionary/table updates etc. You can use an off the shelf emulator,
it's not proprietary.

The end user screens are windows based.

But I'd defer to someone who actually owns the system J

Subject: [talkbws] BWS Used with Epic Systems

I wanted to put out this question to the user group as our company is
moving towards Epic Systems EMR solution. Does anyone in the user group
currently use BWS with Epic? If so, is there an emulator used for the
connection, or is it based on Windows or OCR connections?

Thanks,
