Hi:

I use ten (10) VM's with BWS and have no trouble; well I should say very few
problems. Are you sure your application is not hanging?

Thanks.

Subject: [talkbws] BWS and VMWare

Dear All,

Our site is using Boston Workstation with Windows-based Scheduled Scripts, on a
Virtual Machine setup. We have currently experienced a lot of problems with the
Machine hanging and the ojnly way to resolve this is to restart the session.

I noticed a previous post through the mail-archive, which led me to join the
mailing list:

...Just be aware of the multiple cpu pitfall to avoid with vmware.

Could anyone explain more about this and what it means? I'm trying to work out
what to tell our Network Technicians to set the VMWare to, to avoid this
hanging issue.

I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Many thanks,

Vignesh
